Training
We are committed to training & continual development
of our staff, supervisors & operatives.
Apprenticeships
We pride ourselves in our Apprentices & Apprenticeship
Schemes as we feel we are investing in the future & putting
something back into the industry.
Plasterering Apprentices
Our Apprentices attend the College of North West London
one day per week for a three year course while working
on site for the rest of the week. We first started
this in 2003 attempt to put 3 - 4 young people through
this scheme per year.
Year 1: they attain CSCS, Key Skills,
ERR
Year 2: they attain Intermediate Construction
Award and an
NVQ 2 Apprenticeship
Year 3: they attain Advanced Apprenticeship |

Drylining Apprentices
As there are no college apprenticeships available
in this discipline we train our apprentices ‘in
house’ giving them experience in all the
faculties of the drylining process over a three
year period. Because of the nature of work on
site it is both flexible & adaptable with
potential apprentices starting as site labourers.
Construction
Skill Certificate Scheme
It is our aim to have all our operatives taken
their test by the end of 2006. Those that have
not received their card will be working towards
their NVQ.
FPDC Site Supervisors’ Health & Safety
All of our Supervisors have attended the Federation
of Plastering & Drywall Contractors course
for managing sites specifically for our trade
discipline.
First Aid at Work
It is hoped that the skills that they acquired
on this course will never be required, however
all our Supervisors’ are qualified First
Aiders.
